Courier FAQ
What Documents Are Required to Apply?
To become a Fantuan delivery driver, you must provide: 1. A valid legal work status in your region; 2. Work permit; 3. Driver’s license; 4. A bank account for payments. All information must match the applicant’s identity. Applications using someone else’s documents are not permitted.
How to Deliver?
Once you receive an order, proceed to the restaurant to pick up the food, verify the order number, and check the quantity of items. After pickup, deliver the complete order to the designated location, hand it over politely, and complete the delivery. For more details, you can view the "Delivery Guide" in the "Profile" section of the Fantuan Driver app after completing registration.
Income Breakdown
Your income consists of the delivery fee, tips, and additional subsidies. Fantuan guarantees that 100% of tips go directly to drivers. You can see the estimated payout before accepting an order, and review detailed income information after completing it. Since Fantuan uses a performance-based multi-order model, the more efficient you are, the more orders and higher income you can earn.
How Often Are Payments Issued?
Payments are processed at least once per week.
How to Schedule Your Availability
Scheduling is optional, but drivers who set a schedule will receive priority access to orders.
Do I Have to Use Fantuan-Branded Delivery Gear?
Using Fantuan-branded delivery gear is not mandatory, but if you use the gear during deliveries, you will receive an additional promotional subsidy per order.
Tax Information
As a Fantuan driver, you are an independent contractor in a commercial partnership with the company. Each February, Fantuan will send out a tax slip (e.g., T4A in Canada) by email for the previous year. You are responsible for filing your taxes using this document.
Contract Termination
You may terminate your contract at any time. However, Fantuan also reserves the right to unilaterally terminate your account for serious violations, such as breaking the law, verbally or physically abusing customers, or damaging the company’s reputation.
Compliance with Local Laws and Regulations
We are committed to following the law and expect all Fantuan users to fulfill their responsibilities and comply with local laws and traffic regulations. Failure to do so may result in the loss of access to the Fantuan app.
