Experienced Full-Cycle Bookkeeper CPA Firm | Full-Time, Permanent | In Person Employer: Advanth LLP / Linda Yu CPA P.C. Inc. Location: #501, 201 21st Street East, Saskatoon, SK Compensation: $45000-55000 per year, based on experience ← 待确认后填入 Schedule: Monday to Friday The opportunity We are seeking an experienced full-cycle bookkeeper who can independently manage a portfolio of small-business clients from day-to-day transaction processing through month-end readiness. This is an intermediate-to-senior-level bookkeeping role for someone who investigates issues, applies sound judgment, communicates clearly with clients, and takes ownership of deadlines and follow-up. This role is a strong fit if you prefer to bring a proposed solution—not just a question—when an issue arises. You will have access to professional guidance for unusual or high-risk matters, while being trusted to resolve routine bookkeeping issues independently. What you will do - Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients using QuickBooks Online and/or QuickBooks Desktop. - Record and review transactions; maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts; and complete bank, credit-card, loan and other balance-sheet reconciliations. - Review accounts receivable and accounts payable records and identify missing, duplicated, misclassified or unusual transactions. - Prepare and file GST/HST and Saskatchewan PST returns, and support other recurring compliance filings as assigned. - Process payroll, source deductions and remittances; prepare ROEs, T4s and related year-end payroll information. - Maintain WCB records and assist with required reporting and reconciliations. - Prepare clean month-end files, supporting schedules and year-end working papers for the accounting team. - Communicate directly with clients to obtain records, explain discrepancies and keep outstanding-item lists moving to completion. - Monitor deadlines across your client portfolio, document work performed and escalate material or unusual issues promptly. - Help improve bookkeeping checklists, templates and workflows, and provide practical guidance to junior team members as the role develops. What we are looking for - At least three years of hands-on full-cycle bookkeeping or accounting experience; experience in a public accounting, bookkeeping or multi-client environment is strongly preferred. - Demonstrated ability to independently manage reconciliations, payroll and sales-tax filings for several clients or entities. - Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online and/or QuickBooks Desktop and Microsoft Excel. - A post-secondary diploma or degree in accounting, business administration or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. - Strong problem-solving skills: able to research an issue, assess the available information and recommend a practical next step. - Excellent organization, follow-through and attention to detail, with the ability to manage recurring deadlines during busy periods. - Professional written and verbal English and the confidence to communicate directly with clients. - High standards of confidentiality, integrity, reliability and accountability. Assets - Experience with CaseWare, TaxCycle or other public-practice software. - Experience preparing year-end working-paper packages or assisting with personal tax returns. - Mandarin proficiency is a strong asset because we serve a significant Mandarin-speaking client base; Vietnamese proficiency is also an asset. - Experience reviewing work or supporting the development of junior bookkeeping staff. What we offer - Annual salary of $XX,XXX–$XX,XXX, based on directly relevant experience, technical capability and the level of independence demonstrated during the selection process. ← 与上方保持一致 - Extended health, dental and vision benefits, subject to plan eligibility. - On-site parking and a professional, collaborative work environment. - A stable, long-term role with opportunities to expand responsibility as trust and capability are demonstrated. - Reasonable relocation assistance may be discussed with the successful candidate, depending on circumstances.
