About the Role: InsureLine Brokers Rise is an established insurance brokerage based in Lansdowne Mall, Richmond, BC. We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly focused, and resilient individual to join our team as a Manager Assistant / Operations Trainee. This is a back-office operations and financial support role. You will work closely with management to handle internal accounts, process commission calculations, and manage daily office coordination. This position requires someone who is comfortable with high levels of screen time, precise data handling, and managing structured accounting cycles (mid-month and month-end closing). Note: This role does not require insurance sales or an insurance license, but a basic understanding of insurance common sense and industry workflows is strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities: Insurance Company Accounts & Reconciliation: Handle daily accounts payable and accurately reconcile accounts with various insurance company finance departments. Commission Calculation & Tracking: Precisely calculate, track, and process complex commission statements for internal staff and producers. Mid-Month & Month-End Billing Execution: Manage and execute structured reporting, billing cycles, and statement generation during critical mid-month and month-end peak periods. Administrative & Managerial Support: Assist management with daily internal operations, including tracking staff and producer attendance, working hours, and inventory control. What We’re Looking For High Resilience & Focus: Proven ability to handle focused, desk-bound accounting tasks for long hours without losing attention to detail. Technical Proficiency: Exceptional computer literacy, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a fast, accurate aptitude for learning financial/office systems. Insurance Common Sense: Familiarity with basic insurance concepts and back-office terminology is a major asset. Language Requirement:Must be fluent in both Mandarin and English (written and verbal) for seamless internal communication. Education & Experience: A recent graduate or junior professional in Business, Finance, or Accounting with 1+ year of administrative or office support experience. Compensation & Career Growth Probationary Period (First 3 months):$20.00 per hour. This period allows us to ensure our workflow and your expertise are a great match. Post-Probation (After 3 months): Upon successful completion of your probation, your compensation will move to an annual base salary of $45,000. Growth Opportunities: Structured mentorship, hands-on administrative training, and annual performance reviews for salary adjustments. Why Join Us? A stable, professional office environment located right inside Lansdowne Mall, Richmond. No sales pressure, no external client-facing targets, and no underwriting stress. An excellent career stepping stone to master financial operations and back-office management. How to Apply If you are confident in your computer skills, love working with numbers, and thrive in a focused, structured environment, we would love to hear from you.
